Pinos Nuevos Scholarship
CAALE’s Pinos Nuevos Scholarship awards graduating high school seniors or current college students with a $10,000 award towards college related costs, along with other $5,000 scholarship awards, and grants for professional development. Awards are based on the applicant’s academic performance, leadership qualities, and ability to meet the requirements below:
ELIGIBILITY
- Born in Cuba or are of Cuban descent (defined as having at least one Cuban parent or grandparent)
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
- Applicant must commit to partaking in our Leadership Development Program and attending CAALE events.
- Awards of funds is contingent on the applicant providing proof that they are enrolled in college within the U.S.
- Applicant must complete and submit their application with all other required materials by the specified date.
